Pregnancy Confirmation

We provide medical-grade pregnancy tests and limited (or focused) obstetric ultrasounds to confirm pregnancy and give clear, medically accurate information. Our licensed medical professionals ensure each woman understands her maternal health and her options, including parenting and adoption.

While we do not perform or refer for abortions, we offer a safe place to discuss every concern and answer every question, helping a woman to feel supported and confident to make informed reproductive decisions.

Pre-Abortion Screening

Understanding one’s pregnancy and a baby’s gestational development is essential before making any life-impacting decision. Many times a woman seeks abortion simply to end her pregnancy, believing that afterwards her life will return to normal. However, this rarely happens.

With medically accurate education about the abortion pill regimen and an ultrasound scan, our team is here to inform her of the risks, side effects, and potential impact on her long-term physical, emotional and spiritual health.

Post-Abortion Support

A past abortion is often a deep wound that’s rarely forgotten, one that many women (and men) carry in silence and isolation. Alpha PHC facilitates small group post-abortion support where women can find healing and wholeness in a confidential, caring space.

Abortion Pill Reversal

Sometimes a woman takes Mifepristone, the first drug in the abortion pill regimen, and then regrets her decision. Through a medical protocol known as Abortion Pill Reversal (APR), it’s possible for her to continue her pregnancy. Because Mifepristone blocks her body’s own progesterone from supporting the pregnancy, APR is a natural method for reintroducing the necessary hormone progesterone back into her system and continuing the nurturing process of the uterus to supply the developing fetus with all the nourishment needed for a healthy pregnancy.

When the decision to stop an abortion is made within the first 72 hours after taking the first pill, the woman can be connected with a local physician who will administer progesterone during her first trimester.

Every man and woman is braver than they think and stronger than they realize.  Having a baby doesn’t derail their dreams – it gives them more reasons to pursue bigger dreams, because a little someone is depending on them. And we’re here to help.

Alpha provides online parenting classes, parent mentoring, prenatal education and prenatal vitamins through the first trimester, plus maternity and infant/toddler resources for those who carry their baby. Our advocates and mentors walk alongside women, couples and families, offering the encouragement and support they need.

We also provide adoption referrals for those making the loving yet difficult choice to place their baby for adoption. All pregnancy and parenting support is offered with respect and compassion and without judgment.
